Piel Frama of Spain offers a variety of nice PDA cases, including a beauty for the Zaurus. Non-blocking, leather, swivel belt clip, hand-made, roughly $65 shipped. There's a thread on Zaurus Zone, pictures here and here.
Comment Monitor provides a a simple method of tracking comments on a Radio weblog.Advanced Google Search Operators
Many of us know about using Google's site, link, and cache operators. Did you know that there is an inurl operator that searches within the (you guessed it) URL? Excellent for searching within a specific weblog on sites that host scores of them (ie: radio.weblogs.com).
Crafty use of inurl can narrow searches on Userland's Radio Discussion Group to exclude old posts.
Disenfranchised
I'm sure that by now everyone has heard that Florida still can't count votes. The Miami Herald's local section is the place to read up on the SNAFU. "Leahy blames unskilled workers" offers a glimpse into how our fancy new electronic voting machines are supposed to work, and the safeguards they provide to prevent a loss of votes. Unfortunately it seems that operator error is prevalent, and the automated vote tabulation process doesn't validate the data received. Garbage in, garbage out.
