My current weblog.
MetaBlogging
I've been occupying myself with importing my old personal weblog into Movable Type. Almost 2 years worth of daily writing that needs to be broken into individual entries, titled, repaired, etc... Once I've got that finished I'm planning to start a new personal blog, probably pseudonymously.
AKA has piece about what I call Weblog Firewalls, Ray Ozzie has shared the Groove Networks Weblog Policy, and The .NET Guy has disclaimed his employer.
I'm probably not going to blog much of anything for another few days.
VMware Networking Weirdness (Me vs. VMware, Part I)
My experiments with Debian have been stymied by abysmal network performance when transfering data from my XP host to the VMware guest. I'm getting about 4KB/s. In all other respects, VMware's networking is fast -- 50MB/s to the XP host, 900KB/s over the 10BaseT LAN, 80KB/s from the 'net.
Crazy.
