PDABuzz: T-Mobile Danger Product Coming Soon
The much-drooled-over Danger Hiptop smartphone appears to be close to shipping, with T-Mobile (a.k.a. VoiceStream) the first wireless provider out of the starting gate. According to sources at DangerInfo, T-Mobile's version will be called the Sidekick Desktop and should be available within two weeks. The big news is price: at $200 (the expected tag), the device severely undercuts products like the Audiovox Thera and RIM BlackBerry.
CNET: Camera makers unveil new media format
Digital camera makers Olympus and Fuji Photo Film announced a new removable media format Tuesday, despite analyst concerns that camera buyers already have to deal with too many storage choices. The new xD-Picture Card will be less than an inch square and will be capable of storage capacities of up to 8GB.
What makes them think that there is any demand for physically smaller storage formats? MMC/SD is tiny enough, thank you very much.
