CNET: Seagate drive targets game consoles
The U Series X drive includes a number of advances such as a quieter motor and a thinner profile that will improve cooling efficiency in devices using the drive.
Target markets include home digital audio components, networked copiers, digital printers, routers and game consoles. The drive will come in a standard 20GB, 3.5-inch-wide configuration, although Seagate will produce a 10GB version for the Xbox.
allNetDevices: Casio Business Handheld Bundles Cellular Modems
Sierra Wireless and Casio announced late last week that they will offer a bundled wireless solution operating on new voice and data cellular networks. The Sierra Wireless AirCard Series, including the new AirCard 555 CDMA2000 1X and AirCard 750 GSM/GPRS wireless network cards, bundled with Casio's Cassiopeia Pocket Manager BE-300, offers a wireless solution for the mobile user.
Also, the BE-300 CE.NET upgrade is now available for $29.95.
Acer announces XScale devices
The n20 will feature the usual specs, with a removable 1000mAH battery, and offers a Memory Stick slot. The n20w adds WiFi and doubles the battery power. An add-on sleeve will provide CF and PC Card expansion.

PDABuzz: Price drops on Sony CLIE T615C and S320Toshiba e740 Speculation
It has yet to be announced, but speculation is that a release is imminent. Basic specs are believed to be a 400MHz XScale CPU, Type II CF, SD, 64MB. Originally it was to have on-board Bluetooth, but current speculation is that it will be sold in Bluetooth, WiFi, and non-wireless configurations.
