My prediction: Bluetooth on the desktop will not go anywhere. It just doesn't make sense. Few people will want to replace their USB peripherals with ones that will require batteries or additional power outlets. PDA users are a tiny segment of the overall desktop PC market.
Cellular phones will drive Bluetooth.
