State of the MOB
Excellent progress on Mobile Offline Blogger today, it should be finished tonight! Figuring out how to package everything for one-click installation may take a little longer, but a download for the hard-core Pocket PC geeks will be available tomorrow.

Zaurus Stuff
Came across some nice Zaurus Cases for the Japanese Domestic Market. Strongly suspect that they would not hold the US model snugly, as the JDM units are wider . Hopefully these guys will adapt and obtain a US distributor. Their English is poor, but their leather products appear to be excellent.
Sharp is finally re-appearing on their own mailing lists, having been quiet for over a month, never even announcing that the SL-5500 had begun shipping. Mostly they are encouraging developers to get their products listed on Handago's Zaurus Section. There are now 50+ downloads listed, and half of them are free.
A number of the free applications come from the OPIE project, which the OpenZaurus ROM is based on. Looking at the screenshots for addressbook and today, it appears that a better Zaurus is being built. The list of OPIE packages is extensive. Unfortunately, the site is geared toward Linux geeks who want a GPL PDA solution. They need to address Ordinary User audience that simply wants to replace the lackluster Trolltech applications with better ones.
30-Second Movie Review
Tonight's movie was Bandits, via Blockbuster. A user's comment on IMDB summed it up perfectly:
Not to be put on any top 100 list, this movie was still an amazingly fun and well executed story.
Worth a rental. Buy Heat instead.
Yesterday's flick was Spy Game, which my roommate and I purchased simultaneously, unseen. IMDB quote:
Spy Game is everything we're not supposed to expect from a major Hollywood movie: engrossing, intelligent, well written, acted and directed.
Precisely. This isn't an action flick, explosions are few and far between. The most engrossing passages take place in a conference room, of all places. Redford still has it, and then some.
Buy it. Add Hopscotch as the lighter half of a CIA double-header.
Therapy
Sometimes, when the dinner guests have left and the roommate has gone to bed... Paradise becomes a big couch, a fresh DVD, and a neglected bottle of wine...
