MOB Status Update
Mobile Offline Blogger finally has a complete set of XML-RPC routines and wrappers for the Blogger API. Only two days behind schedule, sigh... Memory leaks wasted all of Monday and a fair amount of Tuesday. Working on my own routines for processing XML-RPC response envelopes wasted time last night. Before crashing out for the night, I remembered XMLRPCCOM, a COM library for XML-RPC written in VB. I'd asked the author for permission to port it to the Pocket PC some time ago...
Today I ported XMLRPCCOM's response routines to eVB, which wasn't as difficult as I had expected. Once Beta 1 is out the door I will merge portions of the request routines with my own and release the the whole to the community. So far as I know, there are no free XML-RPC implementations for the Pocket PC.
I'm probably not going to get anything else done today.
PDABuzz reports that some Best Buy stores have temporarily discounted the Treo 180 to $299 with contract. At that price, I'm almost tempted. No Bluetooth, no GPRS, I can resist.AvantBlog is a very simple interface which will allow you to post to a blog from your Palm or WinCE device via AvantGo, which is the default browser at least on Palm devices.
